Facility Precautions

Parking

Parking for approximately three vehicles is available on-site. Please note that the roads around the property are narrow and located within the terraced rice fields, which can make navigation difficult. If you enter the wrong route, it may be difficult to turn around or reverse safely. We strongly recommend checking the access guide video before your arrival. 《From Obasute I.C.》 https://youtu.be/s3xOvUD4ZhM?si=Q19hEQ1crdP9pX5P 《Via Koshoku I.C. / Sakaki I.C.》 https://youtu.be/1ZCVJWA7LAg?si=FjB-sbKf_a2L1nEw If you are not comfortable driving on narrow roads, please use the Obasute Tanada Parking Area (Google Maps link below). Our staff can provide pick-up service from there. https://maps.app.goo.gl/etZKcAm349SDkmKC8

Pick-up Service

Pick-up service is available between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. We offer pick-up from Obasute Station (JR Shinonoi Line) or Togura Station (Shinano Railway). Advance reservation is required. Pick-up outside these hours may be available depending on the situation. Please contact us in advance for inquiries.

Meals

Meals are not provided at the property. Guests are welcome to bring their own food. If you select the dinner set option, ingredients will be provided. Please enjoy cooking in the kitchen at your own pace. For details on seasonings and kitchen equipment, please refer to our website. A refrigerator and freezer are available for your use. Complimentary soft drinks (water, apple juice, and apricot soda) are provided, one bottle each per stay. Japanese tea leaves, black tea, and coffee are also available.

Occupancy

The maximum occupancy is 4 guests. Sleeping arrangements include two futon sets in the Japanese-style room and one double bed in the bedroom. An extra bed (air mattress) can be arranged in the living room if needed. Children under 4 years old stay free of charge. Children aged 4 and above are counted as guests and charged the same rate as adults.

Bathroom

A bathtub is available in the bathroom; however, due to drainage limitations, it is not available for use. Please use the shower only. As the property is located within the terraced rice fields, hot water pressure may be limited or unstable. Guests are provided with complimentary admission tickets to Togura-Kamiyamada Onsen, located about 10 minutes by car. We highly recommend enjoying the hot spring experience. Pick-up service may be available depending on the time. Please contact us in advance if you wish to arrange this.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Smoking is allowed outdoors within the property; however, ashtrays are not provided, so please bring your own. Please handle fire with care and take all cigarette butts with you.

During Your Stay

The property is located within active terraced rice fields, where local residents live and work. As the area is very quiet at night, we kindly ask you to be mindful of noise. Please also note that it becomes very dark after sunset, so take extra care when walking outside. The rice fields are important agricultural land. Please do not enter the fields. The beauty of these terraced fields is shaped by the lives and work of the local community. We invite you to enjoy your stay while respecting this environment.
